Landscape & Water Conservation Fair scheduled

On Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Chino Basin Water Conservation District (CBWCD), in partnership with the Inland Empire Utilities Agency and other water agencies, will host the 9th annual Landscape and Water Conservation Fair at CBWCD’s facility at 4594 San Bernardino Street in Montclair.

The fair is free to all who attend. There will be a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and face-painting for the kids and water conserving giveaways and raffles for adults. Dozens of exhibitors will also be on hand to provide information about water wise landscaping and other topics. The grand prize in the raffle this year will be a $1,000 irrigation make-over by Rain Bird.

Fair goers are encouraged to attend free workshops at 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. and to tour CBWCD’s Water Conservation Center and Water Wise Demonstration Garden.

The event is sponsored by: Inland Empire Utilities Agency, Chino Basin Water Conservation District, Chino Basin Watermaster, City of Chino, City of Chino Hills, Fontana Water Co., City of Ontario-Municipal Utilities, City of Upland, Cucamonga Valley Water District, Monte Vista Water District, and San Antonio Water Co.
