CA-NV AWWA Spring Conference 2022 returns April 11-14

The California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (CA-NV AWWA) will return with its Spring Conference theme “Sustainable Water through the Millennium: Leading, Education, Serving” on April 11-14, 2022, at the Disneyland® Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The four-day event will include an opening general session, awards luncheon, exhibit hall, competitions and will provide training classes for professional contact hours. The conference reaches skilled distribution operators, treatment operators, engineers, and field professionals from the world of drinking water.

Executive Director Sue Mosburg states, “The CA-NV Section is excited to return to Anaheim, CA with a conference that will have a technically robust set of presentations.  Our goal is to continue to provide our attendees an opportunity to learn about the latest innovative thoughts and projects happening in the region.  Attendees will build their professional knowledge while learning directly about regulatory policies and new water issues.  We look forward to networking with member attendees we haven’t seen in a while and will be integrating conference best practices from our virtual events over the last two years to reimagine this year’s conference.”

Section Chair David Hokanson adds, “We are proud of the opportunities our conferences afford to provide strong communication between members across water industry sectors. At the same time, the conferences provide a great opportunity to learn and earn contact hours both for operators and for Board Certified Environmental Engineers and Scientists like me among other groups. It is important that CA-NV AWWA provides continuing education in furtherance of safe water and public health.  We are especially excited at this conference to return to an in-person environment and look forward to seeing everyone.”
