Author to speak at water seminar

Yucaipa Valley Water District will be hosting an educational seminar with Molly Bogh, author of Life After Lawns – 8 Steps from Grass to a Waterwise Garden on October 3 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Bogh is a former city planner for the city of Highland who co-authored “Life After Lawns” with landscape design-build contractor Bill Schnetz. The book gives step-by step advice on converting grass into water-efficient gardens.

At the seminar Bogh will provide tips for converting a typical lawn into an attractive drought tolerant garden.

The meeting will be held at the Yucaipa Valley Water District’s Crystal Creek facility at 35477 Oak Glen Road, Yucaipa.
