Jeff Armstrong, who has decades of experience in water management, was sworn in today as Eastern Municipal Water District’s (EMWD) newest board member.
Armstrong was elected in November 2020 by the residents of Division 4 – the Perris and Menifee areas – to a four-year term that will run through 2024.
“I am honored that the residents of Division 4 have put their trust in me to represent them,” Armstrong said. “EMWD provides high quality, cost-effective services to its customers and is one of the nation’s most well-respected water agencies.”
Armstrong recently retired as General Manager of Temecula-based Rancho California Water District (RCWD). He held a variety of administrative roles throughout his 32-year career at RCWD, including that of Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Accounting Manager.
“I am excited to join EMWD’s Board of Directors to work on behalf of our customers to deliver safe and reliable water, wastewater and recycled water services to the nearly 1 million residents who depend on EMWD each day,” Armstrong said.
Armstrong is a Menifee resident who holds a degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. He and his wife, Anna, have six children.
