Since 2014, West Basin has provided more than 8,000 free rain barrels to residents throughout the District’s 180-square mile service area. West Basin’s rain barrel events regularly attract hundreds of participants at a time, requiring a dedicated team of volunteers who work together to ensure that events run smoothly.
Local partners volunteer their time at neighborhood rain barrel distribution events several times per year. West Basin is grateful for each and every volunteer who has helped at one of the District’s events. The success of this program would not be possible without community partner support.
