Opower the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry, today announced that for the second year in a row, Glendale Water & Power’s Behavioral Demand Response program achieved the highest reduction in peak demand of any opt-out behavioral-only DR program at scale in the country.

For the second straight summer, Glendale Water & Power realized an average 4% peak demand reduction across three events in 2015, with savings reaching as high as 5%. In addition to achieving the highest demand reduction of any behavioral-only DR program, Glendale also saw the highest per-household savings. When surveyed, 80% of Glendale customers spoke positively about the program.
