CA-NV AWWA goes Virtual for Annual Fall Conference

The Governing Board of the American Water Works Association’s California-Nevada Section on Thursday, June 25 decided to make this year’s Annual Fall Conference (AFC Virtual) an online event on October 26-29, 2020. Speaking for the board, Executive Director and Board Secretary Sue Mosburg said, “We are excited to begin planning for this fully virtual event. What a way to celebrate our 100 years by doing our annual conference in a completely new way.”

An Ad Hoc Committee has been created to help in the upcoming planning. Conference organizers are working to move all critical activities including the technical program, business meetings, exhibit hall, networking opportunities and anniversary celebration events to this new virtual platform. Information will be posted on the website as it becomes available.

CA-NV Chair Andrew DeGraca states, “We appreciate your patience, cooperation and understanding as this marks a new frontier for our organization.”
