Irvine Ranch WD launches new virtual tours

Irvine Ranch Water District has kicked off a new series of virtual events, featuring prerecorded tours and live presentations by IRWD water quality experts. The rotating series begins this week and will repeat in the fall:

San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary Virtual Tour: noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 17  ̶  Join IRWD on a beautiful video tour of the marsh, and hear from experts as they explain the natural water treatment process, and discuss the various species that can be found there.

Michelson Water Recycling Plant Virtual Tour: noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28  ̶  Take a video tour of the plant and learn about the recycled water treatment process and why recycled water is such a valuable resource to our community.

Tap Water 101 Workshop: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 26  ̶    Learn how IRWD treats and tests its water to meet or exceed safe drinking water quality standards. IRWD staff will be on hand to answer questions.
