Lee selected as new GM for Dublin San Ramon Services District

Earlier this month the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) Board of Directors unanimously selected Jan Lee to serve as the District’s next general manager. effective December 23. Lee will succeed Dan McIntyre on December 23 as the district’s first female general manager.

“With the retirement of an excellent leader like Dan, we could not have picked a more suitable candidate for this position,” said Board Director Dinesh Govindarao. “I am impressed by Jan’s technical expertise and the strong relationships she has built with our regional partners.”

Lee, who has served the last three and one-half years as DSRSD’s assistant general manager, expressed excitement at the opportunity to lead the agency. “It has been my great pleasure to work with Dan McIntyre over the last several years as he has navigated the agency through several challenges, including the District Office flood, droughts and a pandemic,” said Lee. “As I step into the role of General Manager, I look forward to working closely with the Board to serve our community and protect the environment.”

Lee’s 27-year professional career includes seven years in the private sector, 13 years with East Bay Municipal Utility District, and four years with the City of Hayward. In 2020, Lee joined DSRSD as assistant general manager. In addition to her professional experience, Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Davis and is a registered Professional Engineer in California.
