Wiley named general manager for Rainbow Municipal Water District

The Rainbow Municipal Water District (RMWD) Board of Directors recently named Jake Wiley the new general manager for the district. Wiley assumes the position following the retirement of Tom Kennedy.

As General Manager, Wiley will serve as the top executive leader of the District, with accountability for all District activities related to the delivery of reliable, high-quality water distribution and wastewater collection services to our ratepayers in a fiscally sustainable manner.

Wiley has more than 20 years of experience in the water industry.  Wiley most recently served as the Assistant General Manager – Engineering & Operations at Rancho California Water District in Temecula. He joined Rancho Water in 2011 and served various roles in the Engineering department, including Engineering Manager. Before joining Rancho Water, he worked as a Water Resources Associate for over ten years for RBF Consulting.

Wiley holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a California-licensed Professional Engineer and earned certifications from the California State Water Resources Control Board for Treatment and Distribution Operators.
